My name is Cassie Hower and I'm the owner of Your Extra Office - Virtual Assistant. I've worked as a legal secretary, paralegal, secretary, personal assistant and office administration assistant in numerous office environments over the last 12 years, including a not for profit organisation, car dealership, movie studio and many law firms.  I've worked in small, friendly offices with only 3 staff to large law firms with 100s of staff and a movie studio with literally 1000s of employees. I've worked all over Queensland, including Brisbane, and on the other side of the world, in London. 

How Your Extra Office came about…

Travelling was my passion for years but last year I moved home to Australia, from London, to return to the reality of mortgages and other grown up things. In the lead up to the next stage of my life, I thought often about what was in store for me. Would I go to University or back into the workforce? I knew I needed something new and exciting to fulfill my days, something rewarding, something I could call my own. So the decision came about to start my own virtual assistant business. I wanted to make the most of the skills I'd learnt over the years, while working in my dream office - my own.

A Solid Foundation for Success

I've got an eye for detail and I'm very meticulous in all aspects of my life (just ask my husband!).  Friends have told me that I'm a complete bulldog when it comes to getting things done.  I have brilliant interpersonal skills and pride myself on having a benevolent nature.  The combination of being a bulldog and benevolent seems to work for me and because of this I've forged strong relationships and friendships over the years in the workplace with both colleagues and management. I'm looking forward to forming new bonds with my clients in the years to come. Communication is the key to a successful relationship between client and VA.
